PERI- AND POST- MENOPAUSE
Peri-menopause and menopause can feel scary. Your body is changing and your symptoms are all over the place. Our physical therapy services in Dedham, MA can support these changes and keep you resilient and confident.
Our focus is on maintaining and building strong bones and muscles. The LIFTMOR trial (SL Watson, 2018) showed that impact and heavy lifting can reduce or totally negate the bone and muscle loss that begins in peri-menopause. We base our treatment off of this, while also treating any pre-existing injuries or symptoms.

If you want to be able to pick up your children or grandchildren, get your luggage in the overhead compartment of an airplane, play fetch with your dog, carry heavy groceries up the stairs, or get up and down from the floor, all with ease and without pain, physical therapy is a great place to start.

Every session is tailored to you and your individual goals. Because your "why" isn't just stronger muscles or bones. It's being able to do the things you want in your body for decades to come.
